When Jesus Christ visited the Americas and introduced the sacrament to the faithful people there, His Atonement—His suffering, Crucifixion, and Resurrection—had been triumphantly accomplished. What a joyful experience it must have been for the Lord to teach them how to remember that victory! He knew that His Spirit would bring them the daily comfort they desperately needed.
