The Lord came triumphantly into Jerusalem.

This video is a reenactment of what Palm Sunday might’ve been like—an event often referred to as the Lord’s triumphal entry. People shouted hosanna and laid palm fronds at His feet. Over the next week, the Savior would complete His Atonement, overcoming the effects of sin and death so that each of us could have a chance at eternal life.¹

Jesus Christ rode triumphantly into Jerusalem back then, and His love continues to be stronger than any evil today. Do we allow Him to lead us to victory in our own personal battles? Do we allow His grace to triumph over our shortcomings? Do we follow His commandments to find daily success?

President Russell M. Nelson has spoken repeatedly about a similar idea, inviting us to “let God prevail” in our lives.

“Will you allow His voice to take priority over any other?” President Nelson asked. “Are you willing to let whatever He needs you to do take precedence over every other ambition? Are you willing to have your will swallowed up in His?”²
