Help your family focus on Christ!
The month of December can tend to fill up pretty quickly with all sorts of invitations and events. Maybe now would be a good idea to review your upcoming calendar as a family!
As you make decisions about how to spend your time, here are some things to ask yourself:
- Will this help us remember Jesus Christ as the reason for the season?
- Will this strengthen our relationships as a family?
- Will this give us the opportunity to show love to others like the Savior would?
It’s OK to politely say “no” to some invitations—especially the ones that don’t meet the criteria above—in order to save time for rest and relaxation. It is, after all, a season celebrating the birth of the Prince of Peace!
