Palm Sunday fulfilled a prophecy.

Use a video and craft to celebrate!

Easter is a week away! Which makes today Palm Sunday.

On the Sunday before His death, the Savior rode into the city of Jerusalem on a donkey, which fulfilled Old Testament prophecy. Many people, recognizing Jesus as their King, shouted “Hosanna!” and laid down palm fronds for the donkey to walk on.

Today we invite you to make your own personal palm fronds! Here’s how.

  • Trace six handprints on green paper.
  • On each handprint, write a reason you love the Savior, or something you are doing to prepare to see Him again.
  • Tape the handprints onto a stick or ruler, fingers facing outward, with three handprints overlapping on each side.
Palm Sunday Activity

Maybe you could wave your palm fronds with the crowd as you watch this video! Can you imagine being there and seeing the Savior? Our lives can be joyful #BecauseofHim.

Holy Week

We’ll share an invitation and video each day this week to help us have a Christ-centered Easter!
