You never know when you’re going to meet someone awesome. Elder Quentin L. Cook met his future wife, Mary, when she sang at a seventh-grade assembly! Here are some other fun facts about him.
Elder Cook:
- Is the great-great-grandson of the late Apostle Heber C. Kimball.
- Served as a missionary in Britain, where one of his companions was Elder Jeffrey R. Holland!
- Worked as president of a healthcare system.
- Grew to love the Peanuts cartoon TV show while doing legal work for Charlie Brown holiday specials.1
- Was called to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in October 2007.
- Attends two cultural activities of his wife’s choice for every one ball game of his choice. He has come to particularly enjoy operas by Giuseppe Verdi.
