Have you ever baked something before? Bread is one of Elder D. Todd Christofferson’s specialties! As a teenager, he baked loaves of bread for his family. Here are some other fun facts about him.
Elder Christofferson:
- Had a summer job as a kid picking pears and peaches.
- Served as a missionary in Argentina. Elder Richard G. Scott (a former Apostle) was one of his mission presidents!
- Married Katherine Thelma Jacob in 1968 in the Salt Lake Temple. They have five children.
- Graduated with a law degree and clerked for a judge working on a famous case called Watergate in the 1970s.
- Was actively involved in several community affairs and interfaith organizations.
- Lived in Mexico City while serving as president of the South Mexico Area.
- Was called to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in April 2008.
