Yesterday marks the seven-year anniversary of the change in missionary age that President Thomas S. Monson announced on October 6, 2012. This change allowed young men and young women to serve missions at younger ages and created ripples through the church. Missionary Training Centers were built or renovated. Sister missionaries were given new positions, the number of missionaries increased, and more missions were added. Inspired change is a marker of the Lord's church, which is led by His prophet on earth.
