Even when the pressure is on.

In many parts of Jamaica, students like Jihan take an exam in order to get into high school. Jihan wanted to get into the best high school, but she was nervous. She studied and studied.

At one point, she said, “I started to doubt I could do it, [but] my mom always encouraged me. She reminded me that I’m one of Heavenly Father’s children and that He will help me to go on the right path.”

Well, the test came … and Jihan did great! She got into the high school she wanted. Way to go, Jihan!

High School in Jamaica

What’s high school like where you live? Do you have to take a test to get in?

Whatever it’s like, you—like Jihan—can hold on to the knowledge of your divine worth. And when something overwhelming or scary comes up, remember God is cheering you on.

Check out more of Jihan’s story in the January For the Strength of Youth magazine.
