If this dog made you laugh, or even smile a bit, then it did you a favor. Because humor isn’t just fun—it’s also good for you! Humor can help you:
1. Release pressure.
A little good humor can be like a release valve for stress and anxiety.
2. Put things in perspective.
Sometimes good humor helps us remember what’s really important in life and what we should just laugh off.
3. Connect with others.
Nothing helps people feel included quite like sharing a good laugh.
What do we mean when we say “good humor”? It should never make people feel bad, take the Lord’s name in vain, or be crude about sacred things.
This month’s For the Strength of Youth magazine has a whole article about humor! You can even read some funny autocorrect stories from a few youth! Check it out here.
