Family stories are important—just ask Elder and Sister Holland.

02/26/21 | 1 min read

Did you know that the stories of your ancestors can strengthen your faith and give you courage to face your challenges?

It’s true. In fact, it’s even backed up by scientific research.

On February 27 at 12:00 p.m. mountain standard time, Elder Jeffrey R. Holland and Sister Patricia Holland will talk to Latter-day Saints around the world about the important role family stories have played in their lives.

You can watch for free! Just go to the Church’s website the day of the event and follow the link. The broadcast will also be available there afterward.

Record a Story

While waiting to hear from the Hollands, power up with some family stories of your own. Ask a family member to share a story with you, and use “Record My Story” on FamilySearch.org to record what they say.
