Lessons from Job: Richer blessings are in store

Believe that richer blessings are in store!

It’s one of many lessons Job can teach us.

Do you remember everything that Job lost? Now take a look at the last chapter: “The Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. … So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning” (Job 42:10, 12).

Yep, Job ended up with more than he had to begin with! In the end, his reward was greater than he probably ever imagined.

Heavenly Father can see so much more than we can. He knows what you can become, and He will help us reach our divine potential if we follow and trust Him. Like Alma the Younger said, “There could be nothing so exquisite and so bitter as were my pains. … [And] on the other hand, there can be nothing so exquisite and sweet as was my joy” (Alma 36:21).

The next time challenges surround you, try to see beyond that “small moment” (Doctrine and Covenants 121:7). The blessings of eternity are waiting, if we’re faithful!
