God has given us everything we have. One of the promises you can make when you go through the temple to receive your endowment is that you agree to devote everything you own to Him—to consecrate your life to Him.1 That’s what this song is about. Are we willing to say anytime, anywhere: “Lord, here I am. I’m ready! Send me to do Thy will.”

To Think About
“Send Me”
I could build my mansions out of sand,
But I know the tide will come and wash it all away.
I could give this world the strength I have,
But when all is said and done all of that will fade.
I’m looking to heaven,
A much higher view.
And my heart is willing
To follow You.
Here am I.
I know I’m not perfect,
But here am I.
Tell me what You need;
You have my heart You have my hands.
I think I’m ready,
So, let me try.
Here am I,
Send me.
I have seen the dangers I will face—
Swimming through deep waters and braving many storms.
But I know how much this heart can take,
And through every broken road, I won’t be alone.
I’m looking to heaven,
A much higher view.
And my heart is willing
To follow You.
Here am I.
I know I’m not perfect,
But here am I.
Tell me what You need;
You have my heart You have my hands.
I think I’m ready,
So, let me try.
Here am I.
I know I’m not perfect,
But here am I.
Tell me what You need;
You have my heart You have my hands.
I think I’m ready,
So, let me try.
Here am I,
Send me.
Send me. Mm
Send me.
