Her story is the last in our series about this year’s theme.
“Last year my mom passed away, and it’s been hard. I’ve had to trust that the Lord has a plan for me.
“Five months after my mom passed, my dad got remarried. My stepmom is great, but she’s very different from my mom. It’s hard with two different families coming together and blending, but I still trust that the Lord knows what I need.
“It’s still hard without my mom here physically, but sometimes I can feel her close. And I know that if I trust in the Lord, He will lead me to places I never knew I could go.”
