Sung instead of spoken!

Here’s a children’s choir that provided musical numbers for a session of general conference.

This song is called “Gethsemane,” and was recently announced as part of the new hymnbook collection!

It testifies of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and what He did for us. A fresh start and everlasting hope is possible because of Him!

What Would You Say?

If you were asked to write a poem or song about what the Savior does for you, what would you say?

“Gethsemane”

Jesus climbed the hill to the garden still.
His steps were heavy and slow.
Love and a prayer took Him there
to the place only He could go.

[Chorus]
Gethsemane.
Jesus loves me.
So He went willingly
To Gethsemane.

He felt all that was sad, wicked, or bad,
all the pain we would ever know.
While His friends were asleep He fought to keep
His promise made long ago.

Chorus

The hardest thing that ever was done,
The greatest pain that ever was known,
The biggest battle that ever was won—
This was done by Jesus!
The fight was won by Jesus!
