Activating an MR33

Meraki MR33 Install Instructions

Step 1: Access Technology Manager ( online using any web browser.

Step 2: Input your Church Account username and password and click on the “Sign In” button.

Note – anyone with an LDS account can activate devices in Technology Manager(TM). If an individual doesn’t have an account, they can register for one by selecting “Register for a Church Account” on the TM sign in screen.

Step 3: Click Firewalls  ActivateDevices on the menu on the left hand side of the screen.

Step 4: Input the serial number of the firewall that is installed at the building you are installing the access point at and click Verify.

Step 5: Verify the property shown is the address where the access points will be installed. Click the box next to “Confirm this is the correct property” if the information is correct. Contact the GSC if the property information shown is not correct.

Step 6: Input the Meraki access point serial number in the open field and click Submit.

Step 7: Repeat step 6 if adding more than one Meraki access point. If TM is able to verify that the access point is available for use, the following will display.

Step 8: After all access points have been added to the site, click the Activate button at the button of the page. If the activation was successful, the following message will appear in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.


Contact the GSC if you have problems activating an access point.
