Garment Changes

DriSilque

Square Neck Neckline Adjustments

  • When the lace binding was replaced with a matte binding on the women’s DriSilque and Nylon Mesh square neck tops, there was an effect that rounded the corners and created a V-neck appearance. In late 2023, due to customer feedback, we made a change in manufacturing to make the neckline more similar to the way it was with the lace in both the front and the back.

Chemise Center Seam

  • When the lace binding was replaced with a matte binding on women’s DriSilque chemise tops, the elastic gather in the middle of the bust was also removed. Customer feedback has shown our intention to preserve the neckline to be unsuccessful. We are testing possible ways to address this issue.

Nylon Mesh

Square Neck Neckline Adjustments

  • When the lace binding was replaced with a matte binding on the women’s DriSilque and Nylon Mesh square neck tops, there was an effect that rounded the corners and created a V-neck appearance. In late 2023, due to customer feedback, we made a change in manufacturing to make the neckline more similar to the way it was with the lace in both the front and the back.

New Cotton-Poly 60/40 Garments

In March of 2022, the 50% Cotton 50% Polyester Cotton-Poly garment was discontinued and replaced with the 60% Cotton 40% Polyester Cotton-Poly garment. In addition to the fabric change, there were a few other adjustments:

  • Men’s sleeves shortened and crew neckline lowered to fit under conventional t-shirt
  • Numeric sizing changed to alpha (with the exception of the one-piece)
  • Women’s tops moved from a square neck to a crossover

100% Cotton Brief to Boxer

In early 2022, the 100% Cotton Brief was discontinued and has been replaced with a boxer. The brief was prone to stretching throughout wear, so a boxer is better suited for this fabric.

Standardized Elastic

In late 2021, the elastic used in garment waistbands was standardized across fabrics to provide a more consistent experience. This change affected Carinessa, Cotton-Poly, DriSilque, and Nylon Mesh for women; and Cotton-Poly, DriLux, Corban, and Nylon Mesh for men.

Lace Removed from Women’s Garments

In early 2021, we began removing lace from women’s garment tops and switching to a standardized, plain binding due to updated customer preferences. This also makes the binding less visible under clothing. In addition, the lace was removed from the Carinessa Mid-Calf Bottom hem. This transition is still in process, and some areas will see the update reflected before others.

Thermal Replaces Thermax

In late 2020, the Thermax garment was discontinued and replaced with the Thermal garment. The newer Thermal garment offers a lightweight, comfortable fabric made from 90% polyester and 10% spandex. Other features include moisture wicking, anti-odor, and 4-way stretch.

This garment uses a unique sizing in women’s styles and runs significantly smaller, so it is recommended to pay close attention to the sizing chart when selecting a size.

Care instructions include the following:

  • Machine Wash Cold, No Bleach, Gentle Cycle
  • Mild Detergent, No Fabric Softener,
  • Tumble Dry Low, Do Not Use Dryer Sheets
  • Cool Iron If Needed, Do Not Dry Clean

Extending the Women’s Stretch Cotton Garment Line

Nursing, Maternity, and Mid-calf Styles Now Available

The women’s Stretch Cotton garment line is being extended to include maternity styles, a nursing top, and mid-calf bottom. These new garment products are available immediately in the U.S. and Canada and will be available in all areas by April 2019 except for Brazil, where they will be available later in the year.

The popular women’s garment features a breathable cotton–spandex fabric that provides a soft, cottony feel and close fit. Stretch polyester mesh panels on the sides and inner legs help to increase airflow and decrease drying time.

All four new garment products will replace the Cotton-Poly garment products currently available for maternity, nursing, and mid-calf.

Maternity and Nursing Garments

The maternity chemise-style top has been completely redesigned and features side gathers. These gathers and the stretchy fabric help to accommodate a growing belly while maintaining a close fit and avoiding excess fabric. The tops are available in two bust sizes. The maternity bottom features an extra-wide stretch mesh front panel for ultimate comfort and close fit.

For nursing mothers, the crossover top and signature stretch provide for easy access and a close fit, while the mesh side panels help to keep the wearer cool and dry. Nursing crossover tops are also available in two bust sizes.

The updated fit and design for maternity and nursing garments is more in line with modern clothing, resulting in an exceptionally comfortable experience.

Updated Mid-calf Garment Bottom

All sisters can benefit from the newly redesigned mid-calf bottom in Stretch Cotton fabric, which features an extra-wide “yoga”-style waistband made of stretch mesh. The leg cuffs are made of the same stretch mesh fabric, which is also included in the inner-leg panels for better airflow and faster drying time. Benefits of mid-calf bottoms include extra warmth, cleaner lines beneath clothing, and fabulous full-body comfort. Mid-calf garment bottoms work especially well under maxi skirts, jeans, and leggings.
