Find a Meetinghouse or Ward FAQs
What happened to the old LDS Maps website?
For the past several years, LDS Maps has helped leaders and members find a variety of Church locations, facilities, boundaries, and members. In an effort to simplify the process and focus on the most frequently used features, the Church has introduced two new applications: Find a Meetinghouse or Ward, and Ward Map. The classic LDS Maps website will still be available and supported as we work to improve the wide array of functionality it provides.
How do I update our unit’s meeting times?
The ward or stake clerk can update meeting times on the Unit Settings page in Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR).
How do I find stake or mission boundaries?
You can find stake and mission boundaries on the classic LDS Maps website.
How do I find other Church facilities?
You can find other Church facilities on the classic LDS Maps website.
How do I print the map?
To print the map, you can either capture a screen shot from your device or computer using a screen-grabbing tool, or you can press the Print Screen button on your keyboard and then copy and paste the image into a file such as a Word document.
How do I update our unit leader’s phone number?
Stake and ward clerks can edit contact information related to a leader’s position (for bishops or members of a stake presidency) in the Church Directory of Organizations and Leaders (CDOL). After signing in, enter the leader’s name in the search field, select the leader, and then select Edit Assignment to make changes. LDS Maps will display the leader’s home phone number if it is recorded in CDOL and will only display the mobile number if there is no home phone number recorded in CDOL.
Why can’t I see the contact information of the bishop of the ward?
In certain countries, due to data privacy laws, the bishop’s contact information is not displayed.
