Policy and Principles
New functionality is developed regularly and added to the LDS Tools mobile app. As the app is developed, Church headquarters performs extensive testing and quality assurance procedures. In order to fully test new features in a live environment, a beta version of LDS Tools is released before the new features are made available in a new version of the app in the app store. Beta testers are encouraged to report problems and give feedback that will improve the LDS Tools app by using the Contact Us link within the app.
To beta test the iOS version of the LDS Tools app, join the LDS Tools for iOS project on the LDS Tech website. After signing up for the project, you can download the latest iOS beta version from your mobile device here. To install it on your device, look for and tap the LDS Tools icon that has the “BETA” sash on it, and then tap the Install button.
After installing the beta on your device, you may need to go to iOS Settings, then General, then Device Management (or Profile, depending on the iOS version), then The Church of Jesus Christ… Select Trust “The Church of Jesus Christ…” Then select Trust again.
