Date and Time Setting

Clerk computers must be set up with correct date and time settings to work correctly with MLS. Changing these settings once they have been established can corrupt the MLS database, propagate reports with inaccurate dates, and require a significant amount of work to resolve the problems created.

In order to prevent users from accidentally changing the date and time settings and experiencing these issues, a security setting is enabled on clerk computers that prevents these settings from being changed. If you have a legitimate need to change these settings, please contact the Global Service Center (GSC).

Note: Annual daylight savings time and standard time changes occur automatically, where applicable.
