Setting the Satellite Carrier Parameters

To configure the satellite receiver to the proper satellite carrier, please perform the following steps:

  1. From the receiver front panel or on the remote control, press the Menu button.
  2. On the Main Menu screen, use the arrow buttons to navigate to the Setup Menu and press the Select button if using the front panel or OK if using the remote.

  3. On the Setup Menu, navigate to Tuning / Preset and press Select/OK.

  4. On the Tuning / Preset screen, navigate to the desired parameter by using the arrow buttons. Pressing Select/OK will put the selected field in edit mode.

  5. Use the Satellite Parameters chart to determine the correct parameters to enter for the specific Satellite for your area.
    1. The following fields have predefined parameters to choose from by using the Left/Right arrow:
      • Modulation Type: DVB-S or DVB-S2
      • LO Select: On, Off, or Auto
      • LNB Power: 18-H, 13-V, Off, H-NIT, or V-NIT
      • DiSEqC: Enable or Disable
    2. The following fields require manual entry of parameters by using the Up/Down and Left/Right arrows:
      • Downlink (in GHz)
      • Symbol Rate (in MS/s)
      • NetId
      • LO Freq 1 (in GHz)
      • LO Freq 2 (in GHz)
      • Crossover
  6.  After all the parameters are entered, push the green button on the remote or navigate to the Save icon and press Select/OK to save your settings.
  7. If the parameters where entered correctly, you should see a box that says "Acquisition Success. Do you want to save the changes?" Make sure Continue is selected and press Select/OK. You then can Exit the screen.
