Flowers for Mothers’ Day

Make a whole bouquet of daffodils for your mom, grandma, or another special person! Be sure to get an adult’s help.

  1. Trace the flower shape onto two different colors of yellow, orange, or white paper. Trace the long piece onto one of the papers. You can also print copies of the template at friend.lds.org on colored paper.

  2. Cut out the shapes. Glue one flower on top of the other so all the petals show.

  3. Fold along the solid lines on the rectangle. Cut the dotted lines. Glue one end over the other to make a tube.

  4. Glue the wide tabs to the center of the flower.

  5. Gently push down on the fringe so it sticks out.

  6. Tape a plastic straw to the back of the flower.
