The Heritage Youth Choirs comprises over 300 children and youth throughout the Wasatch Front. Their mission is to promote enduring faith in Jesus Christ and musical excellence through sacred choral music. Since its founding in 2009, the choir has performed in over 30 US states and frequently performs on Temple Square. For this special 15th-anniversary concert, past alumni will join the choir.

Rob Swenson is the founding director of the Heritage Youth Choirs, a faith-centered community choral program for children and youth. Under his direction, the program has grown to over 300 members and performed inspirational programs for audiences in 30 US states. In 2008, he joined the faculty at American Heritage School, where he directs the high school curricular choirs. He holds a master’s degree in music education from BYU and Level III OAKE-endorsed Kodály certification. He holds a DMA in choral conducting from the University of Utah. He resides in Pleasant Grove with his wife, Kristy, and their four children.

The Heritage Youth Chorus is a faith-centered choir based in Utah that includes talented youth from around the country. The choir has performed with prominent artists—including Marie Osmond, Nathan Pacheco, GENTRI, and Lexi Walker—and performs regularly on Temple Square. Since 2009, the choir has embarked on a yearly service and performance tour, sharing Christ-centered musical programs in Latter-day Saint stakes throughout the country.
