The 2025 Summer Concert Series on Temple Square features free, hour-long concerts every Friday (except July 4) and Saturday night in the months of June, July, and August. Friday concerts are for all ages and take place in the Brigham Young Historic Park.

Saturday evening concerts are presented on the Roof of the Conference Center. These events are open to the public over 8 years old and no tickets are required. Seating is limited, so we suggest arriving early. Standing room is available, and pillows or blankets are welcomed.

Take a look at the concerts below. With the wide variety of music featured, we think you’ll find something that suits your taste just right!

  • Ages: Park concerts are open to all ages. Rooftop concerts are open to ages 8 and older.
  • Dress: Casual dress is encouraged.
  • No Recording: Audio or video recording of the concerts is not allowed, due to Church licensing agreements. Photos are encouraged, just not during the performance.
  • Prohibited: Alcoholic beverages, smoking, vaping, and weapons are not permitted on Church grounds, including the Brigham Young Historic Park and the Conference Center.
  • Flexibility: All events are subject to change.

Tanner James and Madilyn Paige - 2025 Summer Concert

Saturday, June 7 – Madilyn Paige and Tanner James

Two local singer-songwriters, Madilyn Paige and Tanner James, take the stage for a summer rooftop concert, blending their pop roots with heartfelt storytelling shaped by their journeys—from NBC’s The Voice to performing around the world, and ultimately falling in love and marrying each other. Their soulful harmonies and personal lyrics create an inspiring musical experience under the evening sky. Join us for a night of unforgettable music, connection, and summer magic in a stunning rooftop setting.

Paulana - 2025 Summer Concert

Friday, June 13 – Paulana Polynesia: Journey Through the Islands

Paulana Polynesia is honored to share with you the rich traditions and vibrant spirit of their Polynesian culture. Through the art of dance and music, they bring to life the stories of their ancestors—stories rooted in love, faith, strength, and unity across the islands of the Pacific. Their performances are more than just entertainment—they are an expression of faith. They strive to honor Heavenly Father through their talents and share messages of light, hope, and the love of Jesus Christ in all that they do. Journey with them through the islands—feel the heartbeat of Samoa, the grace of Tahiti, the pride of Hawai‘i, the vibrant spirit of Fiji and the strength of Tonga as they celebrate the beauty and faith of their Polynesian heritage.

Saturday, June 14 – The Sharette Family: Home and Harmony

The Sharette Family presents an evening of music ranging from Broadway favorites and upbeat, inspirational tunes to original arrangements and compositions. For the Sharette family, music has always been a way of connecting, sharing love, and creating lasting memories. Parents, Dave and Carolyn, came from musical backgrounds and raised their seven children to spread joy through the gift of music. They are honored to share their music — and their hearts — with you.

Phoenix Jazz and Swing Band Logo

Friday, June 20 – Phoenix Jazz and Swing Band, Featuring the Sugar Sisters
7:30 PM, Brigham Young Historic Park
The Phoenix Jazz and Swing Band will perform a variety of big band jazz and standards the entire family will love. The group, which performs regularly throughout Salt Lake City, includes eighteen volunteer instrumentalists and a trio of vocalists–the Sugar Sisters. Their dedication to jazz, the American art form, is why this band exists.

Dallin Bayles

Saturday, June 21 – Dallyn Vail Bayles
“Anthems of Hope – An Evening of Inspirational Broadway”

Dallyn Vail Bayles, Broadway touring veteran, singer, and currently professor of theater at Southern Virginia University, will perform beloved show tune classics. The evening will include songs from Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Man of La Mancha, South Pacific and other favorites inspiring hope and the pursuit of your dreams.

Kenneth Cope

Friday, June 27 – Kenneth Cope and Tyler Castleton: In Concert
7:30 PM, Brigham Young Historic Park
Kenneth Cope, with long-time friend Tyler Castleton on piano, shares an evening of spiritually inspirational songs—such as “His Hands” and “Never a Better Hero”—written and recorded over his long career. Kenneth believes that through song, through words, through every medium available, he is to proclaim the Lord’s glorious gospel and do the greatest good he possibly can. And while he has all these artistic tools, he aims to accomplish his purpose through love.

Company B - 2025 Summer Concert

Saturday, June 28 – Company B: A Sentimental Journey

Take a Sentimental Journey with Company B as we transport you through time with the unforgettable sounds of the WWII era. Featuring classic Andrews Sisters hits, lively swing tunes, and fresh takes on jazz standards, this concert blends rich harmonies, spirited improvisation, and toe-tapping rhythms that are sure to make you want to get up and dance. From nostalgic favorites to modern swing vibes, Company B brings joy, energy, and timeless style to every note.

Saturday, July 5– Kelina Anderson, Native American Hoop Dancer

Join Kelina Anderson for an evening of dance and stories highlighting her Native American heritage. In addition to being an impressive hoop dancer, Kelina is an actor, a ballet dancer, and a visual artist who even beads her own native regalia. She recently returned from touring with the Brigham Young University Living Legends.

Los Hermanos de Los Andes Logo - 2025 Summer Concert

Friday, July 11 – Los Hermanos de los Andes

“Los Hermanos De Los Andes” is a local Andean folk group formed by individuals of different nationalities. They have found success preserving and sharing their southern rich musical heritage, incorporating authentic ethnic instruments dating back to the ancient Inca civilization. As these diverse performers showcase their culture, enchanted melodies containing powerful energies invoke positive emotions and create a lasting impact. “Los Hermanos de los Andes” invite their listeners to close their eyes and let their imagination take them to the high and majestic mountains of the Andes.

Saturday, July 12 – Joel McCausland

Joel McCausland is a founding member of the LDS contemporary duo Afterglow, and has been writing, recording and performing inspirational and faith-based music for almost 50 years, all over the world. He and his singing partner Kevin Peay have released more than 20 albums ranging from sacred hymns to original music in popular, country and gospel genres and covering a broad spectrum of topics on life and our journeys of faith. Joel and his wife Diana are blessed with 9 children and 20 grandchildren in their blended family and are grateful for the opportunity to share music and testimony with you today.

Friday, July 18 – Brian Woodbury Quintet

The Brian Woodbury Quintet delivers an exciting mix of original compositions and fresh takes on classic tunes from jazz and other genres. Led by BYU’s Director of Jazz Studies, this dynamic group of local professionals promises an evening of energy, creativity, and outstanding musicianship!

Jensen Diederich - 2025 Summer Concert

Saturday, July 19 – Jensen Diederich
7:30 PM, Conference Center Roof
Jensen Diederich is a 24-year-old singer from Holladay, Utah. When he is not performing across the world as a tenor with BYU’s Acapella group, Vocal Point, he performs a variety of songs ranging from pop, R&B, gospel and other genres, many of which you will hear tonight. He seeks to make music that uplifts and brings joy into others’ lives. He is so excited to be performing on Temple Square.

Nathan Osmond - 2025 Summer Concert

Friday, July 25 – Nathan Osmond
7:30 PM, Brigham Young Historic Park
Nathan Osmond is making a name for himself in the Country music world with 4 consecutive #1 hit singles. He was recently nominated as New Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and New Country Breakthrough Artist of the Year by the New Music Awards in Los Angeles. Nathan has performed in over 29 Countries; singing in many of their languages. He recently starred as himself in the hit film, “Even In Dreams” featuring his hit single, “Welcome to the Party.”His music videos have been seen on CMT, GAC, ESPN and other National networks. His music video, “Stars & Stripes” won music video of the year. On top of his musical career, Nathan is a certified life coach and shares his insights on his weekly podcast, “Achieving Awesomeness Now.”His show is designed to inspire the listener to step into their greatness and inspire others to do the same.

Saturday, July 26 – Senxao: Latin Fusion
7:30 PM, Conference Center Roof
Senxao, a Latin fusion band, is a musical sensation that brings the fiery rhythms and infectious energy of Latin America to every stage they grace. With a diverse repertoire spanning salsa, Top40, merengue, reggaetón, funk, bachata, Latin rock/pop and more, Senxao and vocalist Nayi Excalona deliver a kaleidoscope of Latin sounds! Let Senxao’s irresistible rhythms move your soul and your feet!

Ryan Shupe - 2025 Summer Concert

Friday, August 1 – Ryan Shupe Looper
7:30 PM, Brigham Young Historic Park
Ryan Shupe combines a loop pedal, beat boxing, and various effects pedals with multiple instruments to create a unique and sonically full, high energy, solo show. He builds multiple musical layers with a loop pedal in an entertaining way and then his creative songwriting and virtuosic playing are highlighted on top. Beat boxing and rhythmic playing create the percussive shakers and snare drum hits while effects pedals allow Ryan to create solid bass lines and thumping kick drum rhythms.
Being a 5th generation fiddle player, and award-winning mandolin, guitar and banjo player allow him to switch between instruments with ease and feature his rocking bluegrass chops. Ryan’s is a great vocalist and his genre bending songs are witty, thoughtful, fun and high energy and he has an incredibly natural ability to connect with a crowd.
Add all these elements together and the Ryan Shupe - Shuper Looper Experience creates an impressive arsenal of rapid-fire lyrics, thoughtful ballads, sing-alongs, crowd pumping anthems, virtuosic picking, and bass thumping rhythms that will excite and entertain crowds of all ages.

Saturday, August 2 – Salt City Strings: Storytelling Through Song

Salt City Strings is a quartet known for their modern, original arrangements of well-known songs, incorporating everything from iconic film themes to classical music into their lively performances. They are a unique ensemble of exceptional musicians, with each member of the quartet bringing a wealth of talent and experience through her performance background in both ensembles and as a soloist. The ensemble’s “storytelling through song” vibe brings a spirit of connection and excitement to the stage!

Relic Acoustic Band

Friday, August 8 – Relic Acoustic Band
“Classic Acoustic Tunes from the Golden Years of Rock”

Relic Acoustic Band is a group of veteran musicians based in Cache Valley, Utah, that performs easy listening, acoustic oldies. With over 100 years of performing experience between its three musicians, Relic is a lot of fun, with excellent musicianship and songs that everyone loves to hear from the “golden era” of acoustic rock music: Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Beatles, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Crosby Stills & Nash, The Eagles, John Denver, and so much more.

Rocky Mountain Express - 2025 Summer Concert

Saturday, August 9 – Rocky Mountain Express

Rocky Mountain Express Cloggers (RME) is one of Utah’s most highly decorated clogging studios, winning 39 National Team Titles, featured on stages across the world, as well as on TV and film. RME strives to preserve the traditional styles and steps of clog-dancing and represents the USA at traditional folk festivals every summer.At the same time, RME also pushes creativity to bring about new and exciting choreography and challenging footwork in the competition world.RME is directed and taught by Greg and Maria Tucker, many-times over National Clogging Champions, and are based out of Orem, Utah.

Vocalocity - 2025 Summer Concert

“An Authentic Scottish Experience”

Wasatch and District Pipe Band returns by popular demand, bringing an authentic Scottish experience of the highest quality, including bagpipe music, beautiful costumes, and highland dance.They have performed for U.S. and international audiences, including at the renowned World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. Tonight, it’s your turn to enjoy!

Mendonhouse - 2025 Summer Concert

Saturday, August 23 – Mendonhouse

Mendonhouse is an acoustic music quartet featuring Cherie Call, Cat Larsen, Geoff Groberg, and Mark Geslison. Each has been an asset to several prominent Utah bluegrass and folk bands and duos. With original songs by Larsen and Call, along with some folkified, well-known popular songs, Mendonhouse will captivate you with their vivid storytelling and impressive musicianship as they bring you music from Utah’s mountains.

Melinda DeBirk & Alex DeBirk

Friday, August 29 – Melinda and Alex DeBirk: A Musical Love Story

Enjoy an evening of great music with a husband-and-wife duo Melinda and Alex DeBirk. Follow the journey of two people meeting, falling in love, having children, and growing old together. You’ll see the full scope of a relationship, the ups and downs, good and bad- all with songs from classic show tunes to new favorites!

Herehau - 2025 Summer Concert

Saturday, August 30 – Herehau Vero
“French Harmony - Voix du pacifique”

In Herehaus’s own words: “To me, this concert is more than just a performance—it’s a chance to share a part of who I am. As a young singer from French Polynesia, I want to bring joy, emotion, and meaning through music. I’ll be singing in French, English, and other languages, mixing different styles like pop, island music, country, and spiritual songs. I want people to feel something real—whether it’s happiness, peace, or even a little bit of sadness. Most of all, I hope to inspire others, especially youth, to believe in their own talents and share them with the world.”

Additional Information – Brigham Young Historic Park

  • Location: The Brigham Young Historic Park is at 50 West North Temple Street on the southeast corner of State Street and Second Avenue / North Temple Street.
  • Parking: free (limited) parking is available after 5:30 p.m. in the North Office Building lot (North) which is only accessible going southbound on State Street. Turn into the lot before you reach North Temple Street.
  • Chairs: In the Park, a limited number of lawn chairs will be available. Feel free to bring your own blankets or lawn chairs. Out of courtesy for other guests, please do not save seats ahead of time or block the view of others with shade tents or umbrellas.
  • Restrooms: For the Park, the nearest restrooms are across State Street in the Plaza south of the Church Office Building, just north of the Beehive House.
  • Weather: In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors to the Conference Center Theater. If a concert is moved indoors, information will be made available at least two hours prior to the concert at 801-240-3323.
  • Food: In the Park, you’re welcome to bring picnic food. Please be sure to clean up after yourselves.

Additional Information – Conference Center Rooftop

  • Location: The Conference Center is at 60 North Temple Street.
  • Parking: Free parking is available in the Conference Center underground lot for Rooftop concert attendees. Enter the lot going northbound on West Temple Street. As you exit the lot, just let the parking attendant know you attended the concert taking place at the Conference Center.
  • Chairs: Seating for up to 400 will be provided. Standing room for another 300 will also be permitted. Feel free to bring a blanket or pillow in case seats are not available.
  • Restrooms: Restrooms are available in the Conference Center, though not on the rooftop.
  • Weather: In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors to the Conference Center Theater. If a concert is moved indoors, information will be made available at least two hours prior to the concert at 801-240-3323.
  • Food: Water only please.
