Due to inclement weather, the concert on August 12th with On the Air has been relocated indoors to the Assembly Hall.

Join us for free concerts at the Brigham Young Historic Park on Temple Square. Concerts are held on Friday evenings through the summer. These hour-long concerts are open to the public, and all ages are welcome. No ticket needed. There’s even free (limited) parking after 5:30 p.m. in the North Office Building east lot which is accessible going southbound on State Street. With a wide variety of musical styles, there’s something for everyone. Take a look at the list of performers below.

Special Considerations

  • Location: The Brigham Young Historic Park is located at 50 West North Temple Street, on the southeast corner of State Street and Second Avenue / North Temple Street.
  • Chairs: A limited number of chairs will be available. Feel free to bring your own blankets or lawn chairs. Out of courtesy for other guests, please do not save seats ahead of time or block the view of others with shade tents or umbrellas.
  • Restrooms: The nearest indoor restrooms are located a block away at the Conference Center, which is open on Fridays until 9:00 p.m.
  • Weather: In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors to the Assembly Hall on Temple Square. If moving indoors, information will be made available at least two hours prior to the concert at 801-240-3323.
  • Food: You’re welcome to bring picnic food. Please be sure to clean up after yourselves.
  • Recording: Audio or video recording of the concert is not allowed, due to Church licensing agreements. Photos are encouraged, just not during the performance.
  • Not Allowed: Alcoholic beverages and weapons are not permitted on Church grounds, including the Brigham Young Historic Park.
  • All events are subject to change.
