I’m walking the walk
Jesus invites us to “keep [His] commandments” (John 14:15). Review His words from the Sermon on the Mount as you strive to follow Him.
It’s hard to imagine the anguish Jesus Christ’s followers must have felt after His death. They lovingly prepared and placed His body in a garden tomb. Now, they must face a world without their beloved friend and Master by their side. But He taught them how to show their love for Him in any circumstance, including this one: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” If we want to truly feel close to the Savior, we must take action and do the things He asked us to do.
Read Jesus’s promise to comfort us in the Bible
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
