“This site is a valuable resource . . . because you know that anything sung at general conference is going to be of high quality and caliber.” —Katie Bastian, music manager

As of October 2019, information about and easy access to music arrangements that are performed at general conference were made available for all choirs, music teachers, conductors, performers, and anyone who is interested in performing these music arrangements.

At music.ChurchofJesusChrist.org, users can view and download select music arrangements as well as access other resources for members with music callings, stake and ward choirs, and much more.

The initial announcement was sent out in an email to all members of the Church with music callings at the beginning of October and has since garnered lots of attention and excitement, according to Katie Bastian, a music manager in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’s music division.

“There’s so much choir music available, but it used to require a lot of searching to find arrangements that were a good fit,” she said. “Now it’s easier than ever before.”

Currently, three previous conference music arrangements are available, including selections from the October 2019, April 2019, and October 2018 general conference sessions. The music division is in the process of adding more arrangements from past conferences.

Bastian said that a place where people can easily view and download conference music arrangements has been a highly requested and sought-after resource by people around the world.

“Over the years, many have asked to sing the inspired arrangements performed in general conference but did not know how to find them,” Bastian said. “Now anyone can access information about the arrangements and find select arrangements available for download.”

By going to music.ChurchofJesusChrist.org, people can download any music arrangement from conference that is owned and published by the Church. When the selections are not available for download—due to copyright or publication issues or because the arrangement is published elsewhere—the Church still provides a link that will take users to where it can be purchased or downloaded.

“This site is a valuable resource for ward and stake choirs because you know that anything sung at general conference is going to be of high quality and caliber,” she said.

At music.ChurchofJesusChrist.org, users can view and download select music arrangements from all sessions of the most recent October 2019 general conference.
