The remodeled Raleigh North Carolina Temple, which will be rededicated on Sunday, October 13, 2019.

Interior photos of the newly remodeled Raleigh North Carolina Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were released to the public on September 19.

According to Newsroom, adjustments made during the remodel include enclosing the portico and the extending the tower’s steeple, which is now 10 feet taller. There is new blue, gold, and cream art glass featuring the dogwood tree blossom, the state flower, in the baptistry and other rooms.

An open house for the public will be held from Saturday, September 21 to Saturday, September 28, except for Sundays, and the temple will be formally dedicated on Sunday, October 13, in three sessions. A youth devotional will be held on Saturday, October 12.

The Raleigh North Carolina was originally dedicated on December 18, 1999, and remains the only temple in the state. Today, there are more than 88,000 members of the Church in North Carolina, comprising 17 stakes and 170 congregations.
