President Russell M. Nelson, who observed his 95th birthday on Monday, September 9, 2019, has received birthday greetings from members and friends throughout the world.
Because he is unable to respond personally to each person who sent a card or letter, he has asked the Church News to express his appreciation to them:
“Dear precious family and friends, I am totally overcome with feelings of love and gratitude. I cannot adequately thank you for all the good wishes on my 95th birthday. I have read your loving comments, many cards, and letters. Please know of my heartfelt feelings of appreciation and affection! I thank you all, most sincerely.
”May the Lord bless you in your individual life. I testify that God lives, and I know that He loves you—His children. He wants you to have joy, choose to return to His holy presence, and receive all the blessings He has in store for His faithful children. Again, to each of you I express my love, my gratitude, and my testimony.“
