Pioneers Honored in Salt Lake City’s Annual Days of ’47 Parade

Thousands gathered on the streets of downtown Salt Lake City July 24 to watch the annual Days of ’47 Parade. Church units in the area sponsored floats representing the parade theme, “Journey of Hope: A Pioneer’s Legacy.” Elder Craig C. Christensen, a General Authority Seventy and President of the Utah Area, represented The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the parade.
