Eight New Mission Presidents to Begin their Service in July 2015

The First Presidency has called eight new mission presidents and their wives. They will begin their service in July.

Colombia Medellin Mission

Víctor R. and Patricia Calderón

Víctor Raúl Calderón Punto, 54, and Lily Patricia Collán de Calderón, two children, Miraflores Ward, Piura Perú Miraflores Stake: Colombia Medellin Mission, succeeding President Roberto O. Pitarch and Sister Maria Pitarch. Brother Calderón serves as a counselor in the stake presidency and is a former bishop, branch president, EFY session director, public affairs director, and missionary in the Perú Lima North Mission. Regional coordinator, LDS Seminaries and Institutes. Born in Lima, Perú, to Anatolio Calderón Vilchez and Eudosia Punto Rixe.

Sister Calderón serves as a seminary teacher and is a former ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women and Primary presidency counselor, EFY session director, and ward Sunday School teacher. Born in Lima, Perú, to Néstor Collán Córtez and María Elena Salinas de Collán.

Dominican Republic Santiago Mission

Jenny Elizabeth and Lorenzo A. Castillo

Lorenzo Antonio Castillo Camacho, 40, and Jenny Elizabeth Castillo de Castillo, three children, Sabana Larga Ward, Santo Domingo Dominican Republic Ozama Stake: Dominican Republic Santiago Mission, succeeding President John L. Douglas and Sister Rebecca Douglas. Brother Castillo serves in a mission presidency and is a former stake president, bishop, mission clerk, and missionary in the Dominican Republic Mission. Sister Castillo is a former stake Young Women presidency counselor, ward Primary and Young Women presidency counselor, and ward Sunday School teacher. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to William Rafael Castillo and Reina Altagracia Ortiz de Castillo.

California San Fernando Mission

Linda Maree and Kim B. Henrie

Kim Barton Henrie, 63, and Linda Maree Casper Henrie, five children, Park City Ward, Park City Utah Stake: California San Fernando Mission, succeeding President Kenneth T. Hall and Sister Dianna Hall. Brother Henrie is a former bishopric counselor, high councilor, ward Young Men president, ward mission leader, seminary teacher, and missionary in the Guatemala El Salvador Mission. Retired founder and chief executive officer, British American. Born in Ely, Nevada, to Keith Larsen Henrie and Thelma Faye Barton Henrie.

Sister Henrie is a former stake Relief Society president, stake Young Women presidency counselor, ward Young Women president, and ward Primary president. Born in Chula Vista, California, to William Earl Casper Jr. and Shirley Ann Franklin Casper.

Utah Provo Mission

Victoria K. and John C Hodgman

John C Hodgman, 60, and Victoria Joyce Kelly Hodgman, five children, Los Gatos Ward, Saratoga California Stake: Utah Provo Mission, succeeding President John A. McCune and Sister Debbra E. McCune. Brother Hodgman serves as a temple ordinance worker and is a former stake president, bishop, high councilor, stake and ward Young Men president, and missionary in the Tennessee Nashville Mission. Sister Hodgman is a former ward Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary president and ward Young Women adviser. Born in Grand Junction, Colorado, to Samuel Wallace Kelly and Joyce Mower Kelly.

England Birmingham Mission

Mark and Jane Leppard

Mark Anthony John Leppard, 48, and Jane Patricia Thurlow Leppard, four children, Epsom Ward, Crawley England Stake: England Birmingham Mission, succeeding President Robert C. Rasmussen and Sister Julie A. Rasmussen. Brother Leppard is a former stake presidency counselor, bishop, ward mission leader, and missionary in the Canada Toronto Mission.
