Church Announces Dates of 2017 Churchwide Events
“These events are an important part of the Church’s efforts to instruct and edify members worldwide.” —The First Presidency
Whether we want to believe it or not, 2017 is right around the corner. Regardless of your calling, you may want to get your calendar out and make note of these important dates the Church released August 18 in a letter to bishops, stake presidents, and other leaders from the First Presidency.
“We encourage your careful attention to this schedule,“ the letter states. “These events are an important part of the Church’s efforts to instruct and edify members worldwide.”
Below are the dates of the Churchwide events, which are also included in your ward and stake calendar in ChurchofJesusChrist.org and the LDS Tools app.
You can find more detailed information about these events on events.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. Be sure to check this web page often as additional details about each event will be added as they become available.
