2017 Summer Concert Series at Brigham Young Historic Park

A family sits together in Brigham Young Historic Park in chairs set up for free evening concerts.

This summer, plan to enjoy an evening of beautiful music at one or more of the Church’s free outdoor concerts at Brigham Young Historic Park.

The 2017 Concerts in the Park series begins June 2 and goes through August 25 (except July 4 and 14). Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. each Tuesday and Friday evening at 100 North State Street in Salt Lake City.

These free and informal concerts in the park began in the summer of 1996 and are held each summer. The hour-long concerts feature everything from Broadway, barbershop, and bluegrass to Irish step dancers.

Before a concert, 600 lawn chairs are lined up in the park, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets. No tickets are needed. In inclement weather, concerts will be held in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square and the performances by dance groups will be in the Little Theater in the Conference Center.
