Utah Pipe Band—“Embracing our Scottish Pioneer Heritage”

    Celebrate Scottish heritage with the unique voice of this polished bagpipe band. The Utah Pipe Band was created in 1937 by Robert Barclay and other Scottish immigrants and has promoted Scottish heritage ever since through performance and competition as part of the Western United States Pipe Band Association. The Utah Pipe Band also claims the distinction of having participated in every Pioneer Day celebration since 1937.

    This concert is free and open to the public. This concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Brigham Young Historic Park.

    In case of inclement weather, this concert will be moved to the Assembly Hall.
