“Savior of the World” to Be Performed in Spanish

A Spanish-speaking ward will perform “Savior of the World” in Spanish in the Bountiful Regional Center on December 18, 19, and 20.

The Francis Peak (Spanish) Ward of the Utah Kaysville Deseret Mill Stake is sponsoring a performance in Spanish of the popular musical “Savior of the World” at the Bountiful Regional Center on December 18, 19, and 20,

Under the direction of Brother Fernando Cornejo, the production depicts the events surrounding the birth and Resurrection of the Savior and is useful in building testimonies, strengthening families and friendships, and sharing the gospel with those of other faiths. “I hope the event can reach as many as possible from our Hispanic community and all Spanish speakers as well,” he said. “This play is a great blessing for those who participate and for all that have the opportunity to attend.”

Performances are free and all ages are invited. Please plan to be seated 30 minutes early. The Bountiful Regional Center is located at 835 North 400 East, in North Salt Lake, Utah.

The dress rehearsal is Thursday, December 18, at 7:00 p.m. Press and media only are invited. Public performances are Friday, December 19, at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, December 20, at 2:00 p.m. (matinee); and Saturday, December 20, at 7:00 p.m.
