2014 LDSTech Conference

Registration is open for the 2014 LDSTech Conference, Thursday and Friday, October 16 and 17.
The 2014 conference will be at the LDS Institute of Religion building on the University of Utah campus, 1780 East South Campus Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84112. Register for one or both days at tech.ChurchofJesusChrist.org/conf.
LDSTech Conference consists of information-packed sessions about Church technology, community sessions for testing and developing Church software, and opportunities to interact with other community volunteers. This free conference is available to anyone, regardless of skill level.
Register now for many exciting opportunities to meet with your teams and others at the conference as LDSTech hosts work on projects, forums to share your own ideas and developments, and presentations to learn more about mobile applications, ChurchofJesusChrist.org tools, meetinghouse technology.
New this year is the opportunity to participate in advance in a Gospel app and game development contest called “Create Something Worthy.” Anyone can sign up and submit in advance a gospel-themed game or application for Apple, Android, Windows, or online platforms. Winners of Primary, Youth, and Adult categories will be announced at the LDSTech Conference. [Read the news story here to learn more.]
Attendance at the conference is free, and both breakfast and lunch are provided each day.

On the Marriott website, use code LDS in Corporate Group to get a $129 a night rate (based on standard room, length of stay, and day of week). If you arrive Wednesday or Thursday (October 13 or 14) and stay until Saturday (October 17) you’ll get the $129 for each night, but if you only stay Friday night it will be slightly more money with the same discount percentage off since weekend rates are higher.
Make your lodging reservations early as a limited number of rooms at the contracted rate are available.
For those who wish to participate but are unable to attend the sessions, many sessions will be available online via video streaming.
