The Concepción Chile Temple will be dedicated on Sunday, October 28, 2018, in three sessions at 9:00 a.m., noon, and 3:00 p.m. The dedication will be broadcast to all congregations in Chile.

A devotional for the youth in Chile will be held on Saturday, October 27.

The Concepción Chile Temple is located at 1525 Pedro de Valdivia in Concepción, Chile. This will be the second temple in Chile. The Santiago Chile Temple was dedicated in 1983 and rededicated March 12, 2006.

The temple, announced during the Saturday morning session of the October 2009 general conference, will be the second temple in Chile. The first temple, built in Santiago in 1983 and rededicated in 2006, is located more than 300 miles away from the new temple.

Located near the Biobio River along the Pacific Coast in central Chile, the 23,000-square-foot temple will be the Church’s 160th temple and will serve some 122,000 Church members living in southern Chile and southwest Argentina.
