2014 Latino Christmas Concert: “Ven a mi casa esta Navidad”

The three Utah areas of the Church will present a Latino Christmas concert, “Luz de las naciones: Ven a mi casa esta Navidad,” in the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Temple Square on Friday and Saturday, December 5 and 6, 2014, at 8:00 p.m., with a matinee performance on Saturday, December 6, at 2:00 p.m.
All are invited to come and celebrate the rich Christmas traditions of Latin America through music and dance. There will be a 350-voice adult choir along with a 50-voice children’s choir accompanied by musicians playing traditional instruments. The concert will also feature a variety of dances from various countries. The presentation will be in Spanish with a limited number of headsets available on a first come, first served basis for those who speak English or Portuguese.
Members are encouraged to to bring their friends and relatives, and ward mission leaders may also wish to take advantage of this event as a member-missionary outreach opportunity.
The Tabernacle doors will open at 7:00 p.m. for seating for the evening performances. Those attending should plan to arrive early to allow adequate time to pass through security in order to be seated by 7:45 p.m. For more information, call 801-240-6688.

Public parking lots are available in downtown Salt Lake City. However, the Conference Center parking lot will not be available to the public. We encourage the use of public transportation whenever possible.
