Sister Cordon teaches that we are children of God and that our eternal purpose is to bring others to Christ.

Through the power of the Holy Ghost, Christ will enable us to see ourselves and see others as He does.

Through Jesus Christ, we are given the strength to make lasting changes. As we humbly turn to Him, He will increase our capacity to change.

Look and pray for opportunities to let your light shine that others may see the way to Jesus Christ.

At the heart of all we do in Young Women is our desire to help you gain unshakable faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

As Jesus Christ’s faithful disciple, you can receive personal inspiration and revelation, consistent with His commandments, that is tailored to you.

As the influences of the world increasingly embrace the evil, we must strive with all diligence to stay firmly on the path that leads us safely to our Savior.

I hope those to whom you minister will see you as a friend and realize that, in you, they have a champion and a confidant.

Divine discontent can move us to act in faith, follow the Savior’s invitations to do good, and give our lives humbly to Him.

Our Father in Heaven knows us personally and loves us perfectly. He has given us talents and gifts that are meant to bless us and are needed to bless those around us.

What a wonderful time to be alive and be engaged in the great work that God has for us to do. This work takes effort and may be difficult – but it is always worth it.

As we consistently go to Heavenly Father in prayer, we develop a relationship with Him that helps us see ourselves and Him in a clearer light. He will guide us!

The Young Women General Presidency invites all young women to study the doctrines found within the new Young Women theme introduced during October general conference.

The youth of the Church have been invited by a prophet of God to participate in the work of salvation and exaltation, and we know they are eager to accept this invitation. But, what exactly is this work?

Living in a global pandemic does not mean that we are on vacation from our Church callings. The service, love and inspiration of young women serving in class presidencies is needed now, more than ever.

Asking inspired questions can invite the Spirit to teach in deep and meaningful ways. Consider how your mind ponders the following question: “Lovest thou me more than these?” (John 21:15)

The location of your Young Women camp — whether it is in a forest, in a park, on a beach, in a meetinghouse or virtual — can become beautiful to the eyes of all who gather there.

As a general presidency, we invite young women and their leaders to study this new theme and gain a deep understanding of the doctrine found in the inspiring words.

Sister Cordon was called as Young Women General President in March of 2018. Born to a large family in Idaho, she developed a determined work ethic on her family’s farm in Idaho Falls. She and her husband, Derek, met at Brigham Young University and were married in the Salt Lake Temple in 1986. They have four grown children.

Sister Craig was called as First Counselor in the Young Women General Presidency in March of 2018. A natural teacher, Sister Craig has worked as a literacy tutor, Gospel Doctrine teacher, and full-time missionary in the Dominican Republic. She and her husband, Boyd, have three children.

Sister Craven was called as Second Counselor in the Young Women General Presidency in March of 2018. When she was a young child, her parents joined the Church while her father was stationed at Fort Bliss in Texas. She and her husband, Ron, have ministered in many parts of the world. Together they have raised five children.
