Shauna Merrill Ogden

Shauna Merrill Ogden was born in Santa Monica, California. She was raised in Rancho Palos Verdes in Southern California with one brother and four adopted sisters. Throughout her youth, her family held weekly family nights that were open to friends and visitors. This laid the foundation for her testimony and faith in the significance of eternal covenants. While in high school she received her medical assistant degree, and then she attended Los Angeles Harbor College.
She married her husband, Jeffrey, in the Los Angeles California Temple. They are parents of seven children and are loving grandparents.
Shauna has always been active in civic, philanthropic, and community organizations, serving on governing boards and in leadership roles including 15 years with America's Freedom Festival in Provo.
