Seminary and Institute Teachers

Seminary and institute teachers assist parents and Church leaders by helping youth and young adults deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and His gospel. They seek to learn and teach the restored gospel of Jesus Christ by the Holy Ghost. They strive to establish an environment of belonging and purpose and to provide meaningful learning experiences for their students. They participate in training and inservice experiences with their S&I representative and stake supervisor and help Church leaders invite all potential students to participate in seminary and institute. They take daily attendance and provide accurate reports for parents, local Church leaders, and S&I records. They communicate regularly with parents in an effort to offer appropriate and relevant support to each student in their class.
