We can learn a lot from our imperfect families.

Just ask Nephi!

One thing that the beginning of the Book of Mormon teaches us is that every family experiences struggles—even the family of a prophet!

Lehi and Sariah’s family had good moments, difficult challenges, great blessings, and major fights. Along the way, each member of the family used their agency to decide how to treat each other.

While you can’t choose how members of your family act, you can choose how you react. Sister Tamara W. Runia, first counselor in the Young Women general presidency, reminds us that home is a place where we can practice Christlike attributes, even when it’s really hard!

What can you do to practice love at home this week?

If You're Being Hurt

If you’re being hurt at home, physically or in any other way, be brave and tell an adult who can help. Just because you’re trying to follow the Savior does not mean you have to put up with abuse!
